Punjab National Bank has released the official notification for Engagement of Apprentices for FY 2025–26 under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

A total of 5138 Apprentice seats are announced across multiple States and Union Territories. Online applications start from 08 February 2026 and the last date to apply is 24 February 2026.

🎓 Educational Qualification

• Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institution.
• Result must be declared on or before 31.12.2025.
• Candidates applying through NATS must have passed graduation within 4 years from 01.01.2026.
• Applicant must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT applied for.

🎯 Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum: 20 Years
• Maximum: 28 Years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years
• PwBD – 10 Years
• Widows/Divorced Women – Up to 35–40 Years (category wise)

🧪 Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1️⃣ Online Written Test (100 Marks)

• General / Financial Awareness – 25
• General English – 25
• Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude – 25
• Computer Knowledge – 25

Duration: 60 Minutes

2️⃣ Document Verification

3️⃣ Local Language Test

4️⃣ Medical Examination

Final merit will be prepared based on online exam marks.

2. Register on BFSI SSC.
3. Upload documents (Aadhaar, photo, degree, caste certificate, etc.).
4. Register on NAPS / NATS portals (mandatory).
5. Pay application fee.
6. Submit form.

Hard copy submission is NOT required.

• Total: 12 Months
• Includes:
  • 2 weeks Basic Training
  • 50 weeks On-the-Job Training

Apprentices are NOT bank employees and have no right to permanent job after training.
